What happens if I don't pay?
If you're struggling to pay your council, don't just ignore it.
We'll shortly be working with external partners to contact residents by email, text message or voice note to remind you of the need to pay your council tax and outline the support on offer to help you pay your bill.
So, if you're contacted by (01788) 462004 or (01788) 462008, you have received a genuine call from a partner working on our behalf.
If you do miss a payment, you'll receive a reminder letter from us. Failure to make repeated payments may result in a court summons.
