Christmas recycling and rubbish collections

Black rubbish and blue-lid recycling collections will change over Christmas and New Year

There will be no black rubbish or blue-lid recycling collections on Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Black rubbish and blue-lid recycling collections normally scheduled for collection on these dates will be collected as follows.

Collections scheduled for Wednesday 1 January 2025 will take place as normal.

Please make sure your bins are ready for collection by 7am on their scheduled collection day.

Green garden waste collections

The green garden waste collection service will be suspended for two weeks (one collection) over Christmas and New Year. There will be no collections between 21 December 2024 and 5 January 2025.
