Domestic abuse support for Rugby Borough Council tenants and residents
Rugby Borough Council is committed to supporting tenants and residents who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing domestic abuse. Domestic abuse includes physical, emotional, psychological, sexual and economic abuse, as well as controlling or coercive behaviour. Children who see, hear, or experience the effects of domestic abuse are also considered victims under Domestic Abuse Act 2021. If you or someone you know is affected, help is available.
If you're unsafe in your home and want to move out, call Rugby Borough Council’s Homelessness and Prevention Team on (01788) 533468 for advice on finding somewhere to live.
If you are in immediate danger, always call the police on 999. If you are unable to speak, you can dial 55 when prompted to indicate you need help.
