Following consultation with the statutory consultees, it has been determined a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Habitat Regulations Assessment will not be required for the Neighbourhood Plan.

Clifton-upon-Dunsmore Parish Council has submitted an application to Rugby Borough Council for the designation of the parish as a Neighbourhood Area under the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.
Subject to the designation of the Neighbourhood Area, the parish council intends to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan to help shape the future development of the village.

Decision
The application to designate the parish of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore as a Neighbourhood Area was approved by Rugby Borough Council's cabinet on 7 February 2022.
