Councillor Jerry Roodhouse
Councillor Roodhouse's term of office expires May 2027. He is the Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group and is a member of the Audit and Ethics Committee.
He was Mayor of Rugby in 1999/00.
Biography
Councillor Jerry Roodhouse was elected in 1990 and has lived in the Rugby area for many years. He is now retired from full time work. He has served on many committees, held a Cabinet post for housing and was Rugby's Millennium Mayor. He has a strong track record of campaigning in the Borough, ranging from health and social care matters (St Cross), improving local policing, protecting green areas (Hart Field) and helping community groups.
Jerry is also a Warwickshire County Councillor and presently chairs the Fareham Youth Trust and is a Director of Healthwatch Warwickshire. He has also been a school governor in the borough. He enjoys his allotment and cooking the produce.
