Whistleblowing
If you have any reason to believe:
- a councillor
- an employee of the council
- a contractor or supplier to the council or
- a member of the public in relation to the activities of the council
is behaving dishonestly or wrongly and you wish to be assured your concerns will be taken seriously and investigated properly, you can write a letter marked 'private and confidential' to either the Monitoring Officer or the Corporate Assurance Manager, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, CV21 2RR.
If you wish to have your concerns investigated by someone entirely independent of the council, you can telephone the confidential reporting hotline established on behalf of the Government. The telephone number is 0303 444 8346.
