Thinking of selling your property bought through Right to Buy?
If you're thinking of selling a property bought through Right to Buy, the council may have the Right of First Refusal to buy your home.
The legally binding Right of First Refusal applies to all properties bought through Right to Buy from 10 August 2005.
The Right of First Refusal remains in force for ten years after you bought your property.
If the Right of First Refusal applies to your property, you must contact the council before proceeding with a sale.
