Peace of mind 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year
Lifeline, our personal alarm scheme, offers peace of mind at a touch of a button.
Lifeline links your home to the council's 24-hour control centre. You can raise the alarm by either pressing a button on your Lifeline unit or pressing your light-weight Lifeline trigger, which can be worn around your neck or wrist, or attached to clothing.
When you contact Lifeline you'll speak to one of our control centre operators, who can get in touch with one of your registered contacts, call for help or arrange for an immediate visit to your home.
Lifeline's perfect for residents who:
- live alone and want to feel more secure
- have health issues
- have a disability
Digital switchover
The country is currently switching from analogue to digital phone signals. The council is in the process of upgrading all of our Lifeline equipment to make sure it is digitally compatible. It is important to let our Control Centre know if you are a Lifeline Customer and:
- You have recently changed telecommunications provider
- You are considering changing telecommunications provider
- You have been contacted by your provider with a request to upgrade to a digital service
Please contact our Control Centre on 01788 579706 or email Control24H@rugby.gov.uk if any of these apply to you.
